2. Age 35 or older at the time taking office

3. A resident of the USA for at least 14 years

WHY NOT ME ?!

Good question! Indeed, there are just three legal requirements. No prior Presidential – or Vice Presidential or any governing experience, is necessary.  

Some say that serving is easier than being elected. 

Advice from some of your Presidential predecessors: “If you want to have a friend in Washington, D.C., buy a dog.” That means: If you want to govern in the best interests of the country and not just for the financial interests of yourself and your friends, do the “right” thing but then be prepared to make political enemies (hopefully not the kind who would storm the Capitol in protest.)

Give it a try!  However, it might be smart to have a back-up career plan.
